Overview

Suleiman Al Rai has more than four years of experience in the engineering/construction industry. He has project management experience preparing and maintaining project schedules and budgets; managing entitlements; performing site supervision; supplier, subcontractor and owner coordination; contract administration, RFI, submittal log and change order management; procurement, buyout, and invoice management.

Sul is proficient in the application of Primavera P6, Bluebeam, On Screen Takeoff, Autodesk Revit, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Selected Project Experience

Served as Project Engineer for a leading construction company in the Mid-Atlantic region on a state of the art $21 million 122 unit modular commercial and student housing spaces. Responsibilities include schedule and budget development, updates and control; building permit and certificate of occupancy applications; site supervision; modular factory quality control inspections; material orders and subcontractor and owner coordination and change order management; preparing detailed daily logs.

Served as a Civil Engineer for one of the biggest construction companies in the MENA region on a state of the art $700+ million museum project in Kuwait which now holds the record for the biggest exhibition area in the world. Responsibilities include schedule and budget development, updates and control; structural drawings preparation and distribution; RFI; submittals and project logs preparation and maintenance; performing quality control site inspections on concrete, steel, landscape and finishing; subcontractors coordination; change order and contract administration and control; preparing detailed daily logs on all construction activities.

Served as a Project Engineer on a wide range of projects for a leading excavation, shoring and general earthwork contractor in Kuwait and the MENA region. Most notable project is the excavation , dewatering and shoring phase of “The Avenues 4B” which now holds the record for the second biggest mall in the MENA region.
